“I was so surprised to see that panicked look missing from Zack’s face. Every time his head came up out of the water, you could see him beginning to relax. He wanted so badly to swim but had been afraid. I knew it would take a special person to help him feel confident. I didn’t mind the 45-minute trek from North County, believing John might make the difference between success and failure for Zack. Glad to say I was right!
